Dmitrij Sribnyj Takes P1 Overall in Toyota Sprint with SCR BRZ86 and P2 in J03 Class of Javelin Series at Mallory Park Circuit

Javelin & Toyota Sprint Series had a new venue for the Championship Round at Mallory Park. However, it was lucky for our driver Dmitrij Sribnyj who is sponsored by Co-ord Sport already had experience at this race circuit at Mallory Park by competing last year and this year at the QUICK60 event where he won in style.

However the layout of the lap was changed for the weekend, Dmitrij still managed to get good lap times right away that placed him on P1 in the Toyota Series Overall and P2 in the J03 Class of Javelin Championship, while the P10 from the other 71 drivers seemed to be a decent place for the less powered car.

Unfortunately the day at Mallory Park had to be cut short by 2 attempts out of 6 due to oil spillage and an accident by another car, this had to take a while to clear meaning that we got no time left to complete the remaining runs.

Dmitrij Sribnyj was confident to get a better time and hopefully claim P1 in J03 Class also, but that not meant to be. We wish him better luck next time! However, our driver was still happy with the result at Mallory Park. Lets hope what the final round at Cadwell Park brings in a few weeks time, but first he needs make some decisions due to the Formula G double header weekend going to be clashing where Dmitrji will be fighting in the Championship as well…

In overall it was a good day for Dmitrij Sribnyj, Scobyclinic BRZ86 performed very well, plenty of power for the track despite not very high figures, clocking in one of the quickest times on the 60 feet sector as always and handling like a string, yet there is still more to come on Dmitrij’s side as a driver, but he is still learning with each event and starting to feel more confident with the speed.
