Lada cars celebrated their 50th Anniversary this year. Co-ordSport’s MD and majority owner used to be co-driver in the 1983 Lada Challenge. Driver and owner of the Lada VAZ-2101 was Digby Allen. It was a great way into motorsport, on a modest budget, with reasonable reliability. The car was prepared by Digby, with assistance from local garages.
