Powerflex wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

We are overjoyed and honoured that our supplier Powerflex have been selected to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade for 2013.

The Queen’s Award (announced on the Queen’s birthday yesterday) is the equivalent of a company knighthood and, as far as we are aware, has never been given to a company in the performance industry.

The award is only given after stringent analysis of the company’s trading accounts by the Government Department for Trade and Industry.

With only around 100 companies from all UK industries per year winning an award, this is a massive achievement.
