29th August BMMC Curborough Sprint – Suzuki Swift
Great outcome from the Part-Box Swift (Jamie Exton) placeing second and also achieveing best prepared car. Although the Fuel Cut was not working on the Sequential shifter which meant having to engage the clutch to change gear, Jamie still managed to get a lap of 66.20. This is a very positive outcome as the clutchless gear change would make a vast different in shift changes. So from the performance i would say the change of the ECU was very positive, it has made the acceleration of the car slightly quicker, which is a big help out of corners.
As we proceed to the final event SDCC Single Lap. It is looking positive with the car running smoothly and progressing very well. Again the parts that make this car are as followed: SQS Dog box with sequential shifter, Cusco Differential, Piper 4 branch stainless manifold / exhaust system, HKS Oil filter, Koyo Radiator, Cusco catch tank, AP Racing competition big brake kit, Cusco Street Zero-A suspension and Top Mounts , Whiteline anti-roll bars, Rays wheels, Sparco seats, TRS Harnesses and Cusco Roll cage.
