PAAA meeting at Castle Combe
We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the PAAA member’s track day at Castle Combe, in which we had the privilege of having an almost empty circuit to ourselves.
Whilst the weather was wet in the morning, which made for indifferent levels of grip, the rain stopped at lunch time and with a dry track in the afternoon, it was clear to see that speeds increased – as did the smiles on the drivers’ and passengers’ faces!

Following the circuit action the PAAA held our autumn members meeting in the Strawford Centre that overlooks the pit lane. Items discussed included an information update surrounding the import and export of goods following Brexit – in whatever form it eventually takes! This was followed by a report from the recent ETO general meeting at Lake Como. The PAAA (Performance Automotive Aftermarket Association) is an important organisation for the motorsports and aftermarket tuning industry.
Members’ meal
A number of members stayed on after the meeting for the evening meal, which was held at the White Hart Inn at Ford, not far from Castle Combe. Because of its location, food and ambience, the venue proved to be an extremely popular choice and a visit there is likely to repeated following next year’s track day.
