Julle Racing – August Update

It has been a busy August for young Kevin. One full of ups and downs, thankfully there’s been some pretty exciting ups.

To start with the biggest, finishing 2nd overall at the SGP2 event in Cardiff! Tied on the same points total as the winner. This means that Kevin is now 4th overall for the World Championship with the last race in Poland on the 30th of September. He went on to say it’s his goal to finish on podium overall in such a strong field.

In the Swedish Elite Series; the last home match with Rospiggarna was won, setting up a quarter-finals match against Västervik

After a defeat in the semi-final 2 in Opole, Kevins team, Lokomotive Daugavpils, is unfortunately out of the playoffs in the Polish 2nd league.

With victory over Fjelsted away from home, the team from Grindsted also secured a place in the Semi-Final on 14th of September 2022. The goal being to still achieve a place in the grand final on the 21st of September 2022.

Kevins team in the 1st Div. Holsted, is currently located Number 1 in the league. So the final in the Danish Championship on 24th of September 2022 is also to look forward too.

Kevin also had the following to say regarding a new sponsor.

“I can also with great pleasure announce that I have entered into a sponsorship agreement with Dansk Dæk Service Ovethi for the 2023 season.”

 “We are now entering the decisive phase with all teams, and it will be a very busy September, where I am also very much looking forward to the race for the Danish U21 Championship on 23/9-22 in Grindsted.”

So all in all it’s been a productive and ever busy month for all of August, and it is shaping up to be the exact same in September.
