CSCC Co-ordSport Tin Tops Snetterton Report

Welcome back for the 2019 Classic Sports Car Club Co-ordSport Tin Top Series. Established in 2005 the Tin Top series is now in its 14th year. Here at Co-ordSport we are proud to be sponsoring such an exiting and entertaining series.

With a range of cars from the last normally aspirated Honda’s to the old hot hatches from the 1980’s such as the Peugeot 205 and pretty much everything in-between. Throughout the year the Tin Tops series will be taking place at the countries best circuits including Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, A double race header at Anglesey and a two race format at Donnington Park in October that includes a televised day and optional night race.

The 2019 season will see the return of father and son duo Colin and Stephen Simpson in their newly painted, yellow Peugeot 206 RC, as they try to defend their title of most consistent drivers from 2018. The challenge will be on as many of their close rivals have again returned to the Co-ordSport Tin Top Series for another year. They include Russel Hird, Lisa Selby and Toby Harris.

(The Co-ordSport Tin Top Series is for Saloon and Hatchback care with an engine capacity under 2 litres, 4 cylinder (non turbo/supercharged, except diesel) of any age)

Congratulations on Tom Mensley for taking 1rst Place in his Renault Clio 172.
